Orlando is a real crossroads for tourists from around the world by the nature of its varied and fantastic theme parks. While one can find many shopping centers, gift stores and specialty shops at any corner of the city, what we’re simply describing here are three different venues at which one can have a name brand shopping experience at a sizable mall or outlet.
The three shopping plazas being described are all within a 15 minute drive of each other, located just off Interstate 4 which serves as the main artery of traffic through the Disney, Universal Studios and Orlando Downtown corridor.
The Mall at Millennia
This large traditional style shopping mall is a grand design of elegant indoor space with lots of broad walkways, high ceilings, natural light and beautiful storefronts. It offers a great blend of shopping venues from some ultra luxury brands in watches and clothing, to more common mall storefronts. There is a good offering of sit down restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating as well as an eclectic food court with a blend of options from very healthy to typical fast food. This Mall is a pleasant place to walk and offers a lot of variety that will be sure to offer something to everyone looking forward to shop.
Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets
This shopping complex represents a wide variety of well known brands especially for clothing and shoes. There are several high luxury offerings here like Ferragamo, Prada and Zegna, just to name a few, alongside other tiers of stores. The fact that it is an outlet means that one can find some excellent reductions in price however inventory will often be out of season or only available in certain sizes. This is especially true in the higher end luxury shops of which there are several. There is plenty of parking and an adjacent garage for overflow.
The Orlando International Premium Outlets
This shopping outlet is larger than the nearby Vineland outlet, as it offers 180 stores. The types of products found here represent everyday to higher luxury offerings. There are Cole Haan, J.Crew, Kenneth Cole, Lacoste, Michael Kors to give shoppers an idea of what to expect. There are different offerings from accessories, to luggage to leather and a good selection of children’s stores especially.
