Our recent stopover in Dubai coincided with the opening dates of the newest Hell’s Kitchen restaurant. We took advantage of the opportunity and found a dining experience that is truly recommendable in the wide Dubai food scene.
The new Hell’s Kitchen is one of the first major venues to open in Dubai’s Bluewater development. While many venues are still under construction in the general complex, several hotels and restaurants are ready. Hell’s Kitchen is set within a brand new Ceasar’s Palace, an interesting mix as the Vegas giant ventures into a new (non-gambling) market.
We were a little apprehensive about the restaurant thinking it might be of the tourist trap variety, but we were pleasantly suprised. It is on the more costly side and the food was excellent, but not necessarily incredible.
The feeling the atmosphere creates is that of being transported to right to the TV set of Hell’s Kitchen, but not in a cheesy way. The furniture, layout, open kitchen and abundant lighting give the place a fresh and glamorous feel all at once.
The menu ingredients are top quality and fresh with many good vegetarian options. You will recognize some of the dishes from the reality show as well as some in house specialties that are excellent.
The overall theme is Italian, a compliment to Ceasar’s and to Ramsey’s arsenal of Italian dishes that he showcases strongly in his continental cuisine arsenal.
Whether you’re a regular in Dubai looking to try a new place or a first time visitor, it is well worthwhile to see the impressive Bluewater complex and to enjoy this new restaurant that does its parent brand proud.
