Review: Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

The Four Seasons brings their high standards of service to their Orlando property as we experienced in our recent visit.

The location of the hotel is ideal, it is close enough to the parks to be accessible, while having a sense of staying in a reserved space. The parking is paid valet only, a criticism of this service is that the lot is adjacent to the hotel and uncovered, the valet service was always prompt and friendly on the plus side.

Check in was fast and easy, the lobby and public floor of the hotel are grand and imperial. There is an abundance of white marble, while the chandeliers, especially the main fixture are ornate and artistic. The ceilings are high, halls filled with fresh flowers and the hotel has a noticeable number of engaging staff.

Rooms:Review: Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

The room we booked came without a view, that we were aware of, however it was not specified that the view would be an imposing wall and rooftop of an adjacent building a few feet from the balcony. It is poor planning and even an ivy plant or some greenery seems necessary to cover up the stale and claustrophobic structure. We were relocated after expressing our discontent, for which we were pleased. The rooms themselves are modern and sharp. The color scheme of blue, silver and white are quite inviting. The bathroom is spacious with generous use of marble and the in room technologies and appliances were state of the art. There is ample work space as well as balcony space.

The hotel’s fitness facilities are high class, with comprehensive machines and weights in a dedicated pavilion. The Spa was simply put our favorite feature of the hotel. It is open to all guests and the relaxation area is very inviting. It has fireplaces, hot tea and snacks as well as a range of comfortable seats to just relax or wait for a treatment. There is a steam room, Jacuzzi and all things considered one of the best spa complexes we’ve enjoyed in the United States.

The opportunities for family fun are on site with explorer island and the lazy river water park on the property. There are kids camps as well as outdoor movies and family pools. There are adult escapes too like the Tranquilo golf course, tennis courts and adults only pool area. There are some fine venues for cuisine of all sorts as well as boutiques for any items one needs. There are wonderful halls and ballrooms for weddings, meetings and events of every sort.

All things considered the Four Seasons Resort in Orlando brings the magic of Disney to the stellar standards of service and relaxation that this hotel chain has distinguished itself with around the world.
